5 Important Factors To Know in Regard To Breast Cancer Awareness
You can prevent your chances of getting breast cancer by:
1. BEING ACTIVE AND EXERCISING EVERY WEEK.
Doing this can help you maintain your weight, which can in return help reduce your risk of breast cancer.
2. DRINKING LESS ALCOHOL.
It’s important to realize the more alcohol you consume, likely the greater your risk is of getting breast cancer. A good rule of thumb is to limit yourself to less than 1 drink per day.
3. MAINTAINING A HEALTHY WEIGHT.
Obesity or being overweight increases your chances of getting breast cancer, especially after menopause.
4. REFRAINING FROM SMOKING.
Studies suggest that there is a link between smoking and breast cancer, especially in menopausal women.
5. BY AVOIDING RADIATION AND POLLUTION.
Different medical-imaging methods use high doses of radiation. Certain studies suggest that there could be a link between breast cancer and radiation exposure.
