Healthy Tooth Club
COMC recently started the Healthy Tooth Club to encourage kids to practice good oral hygiene. Kids will be coming into our clinics excited to show off their pearly white teeth. They can’t wait to tell the dentist how well they have been doing and how they always brush their teeth. The Healthy Tooth Club is all about making kids excited to keep their teeth clean and rewarding them for their good work.
To encourage kids to take care of their teeth, patients ages 3-16 are eligible for membership in our COMC Healthy Tooth Club. To qualify, your child must have no new cavities at their routine exam and cleaning. Each child will receive a special “I Belong to the Healthy Tooth Club” t-shirt.
At the end of each quarter, we enter the names of all children from all clinics, who qualify into a random drawing. One lucky Grand Prize winner will receive a special reward appropriate to their age such as movie tickets, amusement passes, or gift cards.

Our new Mobile Medical Unit delivers comprehensive care to COMC’s most rural communities as well as provides outreach activities. The unit offers us the opportunity to expand access to the care of our community by supplying our services and removing possible barriers to receiving care in one of our regular clinic sites.

Substance Use Disorder Treatment (MAT)
Addiction to drugs and alcohol is a disease. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of medications, such as Suboxone, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Research shows that a combination of medication and therapy can successfully treat these disorders, and for some people struggling with addiction, MAT can help sustain recovery. MAT is clinically driven with a focus on individualized patient care. MAT for opioid use disorder in particular is the safest approach to care and is considered the best practice in the treatment of most patients including pregnant women.
If you are interested in learning more about Suboxone treatment and the benefits it can provide to your recovery, contact COMC at (877) 406-2662.
