Registered Nurse
Qualifications Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be CPR certified or become certified during probationary period and maintain certification throughout employment with COMC. Must maintain CEUs as directed by COMC.


Education and/or experience: Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Missouri. Experience with electronic health records preferred.


Language Skills: Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory agencies.


Mathematical Skills: Knowledge of fundamental math, adding machine, calculator, and Microsoft office.


Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.


Other Skills and Abilities: Strong phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills.


Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This includes moderate physical effort consisting of occasionally lifting or moving over 50 pounds of weight.


Travel Requirement: To fulfill the responsibility of the position travel to all COMC locations will be required. Employee should have valid Missouri driver’s license. Overnight travel may also be required in specific incidences of training, conferences, etc.


Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Knowledge of, and compliance with, HIPAA and 340B regulations is required. Confidentiality of patient information is mandatory.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Lab Tech
The Laboratory Technician will render professional quality health care to patients, under the clinic provider’s supervision. Must be aware of and comply with required services and data, according to the Health Care. Plan and the Quality Assurance Plan of Central Ozarks Medical Center. Must provide courteous service to all patients. Will collect and prepare blood samples for inspection. Will assist in maintaining the laboratory and radiology areas in proper condition. The Laboratory Assistant will assist in maintaining an inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies and prepare purchase requisitions, for submission to the Practice Manager, for needed supplies. Will assist in recording information, collecting specimens, and labeling specimens for identification.

Qualifications Requirements: Must be comfortable using computer hardware and software as well as computerized equipment. Must be motivated to serve the needs of patients and perform services to benefit people and Central Ozarks Medical Center. Must possess a sense of discipline to work in accordance with accepted medical standards. Must possess reading and verbal skills necessary to understand and communicate, regarding medical records and laboratory procedures. Must be CPR/BLS certified or become certified during probationary period and maintain certification throughout employment with COMC.


Education and/or experience: GED or High School diploma. Phlebotomy experience preferred.


Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate lab testing. Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory agencies.

Billing Specialist
The Billing Specialist II is responsible for collecting, coding, and submitting claims. Must be able to answer patient inquiries on patient accounts. Reports to the Billing Manager.


Qualifications Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Medical/Dental billing and coding experience is needed and highly preferred.


Education and/or experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Billing experience of two years in medical/dental billing. Coding Certification required. Must be able to operate a computer and billing software. Able to type or keyboard 45 wpm preferred and ability to operate a calculator proficiently. Familiarity with CPT/CDT and ICD coding systems and medical terminology is required.


Language Skills: Ability to read and write. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory agencies. Ability to effectively present information to Billing Manager and/or Director of Revenue Cycle.
Mathematical Skills: Must be able to add and subtract, multiply and divide accurately.


Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, follow federal, state, and health care regulations.


Other Skills and Abilities: Able to read and interpret technical bulletins and software documentation. Must possess very strong communication and interpersonal skills, good telephone personality, and must like working with people. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must have a willingness to learn, interpret and apply new skills and take direction from other team members. Able to organize information and manage time efficiently.
