
Osage Beach, Mo. — Central Ozarks Medical Center (COMC) is proud to share that Chief Medical Officer Dr. Holland Haynie has been appointed by Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe to serve on the Missouri Drug Utilization Review (DUR) Board.
The appointment was announced by Governor Kehoe on July 24, 2026, as part of eight gubernatorial appointments to state boards and commissions. The Drug Utilization Review Board plays an important role in promoting safe, effective, and appropriate medication use for Missouri Medicaid participants by reviewing prescribing practices, evaluating drug utilization trends, and making recommendations to improve patient care and health outcomes.
As COMC's Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Haynie provides clinical leadership for the organization while remaining dedicated to improving access to high-quality healthcare throughout central Missouri. His appointment reflects both his commitment to evidence-based medicine and his passion for advancing healthcare policy that benefits patients across the state.
